God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe and has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and one God. (Matt 28:19; Deut 6:4) Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He was all man and all God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. (Matt 1:18-20; 2 Cor 5:21; John 1:1, 14; 10:30) The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make mankind aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of their salvation. He is co-equal with the Father and Jesus Christ. (John 16:8; 1 Cor 3:16; Acts 5:3-4) Man was created in the image of God and lived in innocence until the first human sin. The result is that now all mankind are born as sinners and are separated from God. (Gen 1:26, 3:6-24; Rom 5:12, 19) Salvation is God’s free gift to mankind by Jesus Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross. It is given by God’s grace and not by anything we can do. It is received by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and repentance towards God. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by our self-effort. All who receive salvation are eternally secure in Him and shall not perish. (Eph 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-6, Rom 10:9, Luke 3:13, John 10:27-29) The Church was established by Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry. He is the Head of it, the one responsible for its growth, and promised its continual existence. The Church is always a local assembly of Biblically baptized believers who are an independent and self-governing body. The ordinances of the church practiced are baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Matt 4:18-22; Col 1:18; Matt 16:18) Baptism is by full immersion of the born-again believer in water, administered by the authority of a New Testament church. Baptism pictures how the born-again believer is buried with Jesus Christ and has now risen to walk in newness of life. (Acts 8:38; Matt 28:19; Rom 6:3-6) The Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the bread and the cup which is the continual memorial of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. The Lord’s Supper is restricted to the members of the local church observing the ordinance. (1 Cor 11:23-26; Matt 26:17-20; 1 Cor 5:11-13) |

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living, without any mixture of error. (Psalm 119:160; 2 Tim 3:16-17)
